About the CP Magic! Colored Pencil Showcase 2025
This collection includes artwork from artists in all categories. Beginners, intermediate artists, advanced artists, and professional artists. No matter your skill level or ambition when it comes to colored pencils, you will find artwork to inspire and challenge you.
Many artists also share their thoughts on their work, so you’ll find great tips, interesting tools, and other suggestions. This is more than just a publication filled with colored pencil artwork. It can also be a fantastic reference source.

Why a Colored Pencil Showcase?
Many artists labor at their artwork in solitude. That’s not a bad thing; in fact, many artists prefer the quietness of solitude. No distractions. No interruptions. Just pencils moving across paper and the act of creating something that didn’t exist before.
But colored pencil artists may sometimes wonder if what they’re doing matters. Is there anyone else out there doing colored pencil work? What type of work are they doing?
As the publisher of CP Magic!, many of my questions in this area are answered through correspondence with featured artists and others. I get to see their work and chat with them.
But there’s only one featured artist a month and there are many other artists creating great work with colored pencils. Why not devote a special publication to them?
