Interview
Annemieke de Wit has always used pencils. She started with graphite as a child, then began using colored pencils in 2010. She’s been creating beautiful colored pencil art non-stop since then. Her favorite subjects are cats and vultures, though she also draws other animals. She instills beauty into everything she draws.
Tutorial
Annemieke’s tutorial is a bit different, and features a subject most of us probably wouldn’t consider worthy of depicting in fine art: A vulture. But her portrait of a white-headed vulture is not only beautiful; it’s filled with stunning detail. She shows you step-by-step how to use PanPastels, Prismacolor Premier and Verithin pencils on Pastelmat to create gorgeous artwork.
