Do you love landscape art, but the thought of drawing a landscape gives you the cold shudders?
Maybe you want to try the umber under drawing method, but want someone to walk you step-by-step through the process.
Drawing a Landscape in Gray Light—The Email Drawing Class
Each lesson is a complete mini-tutorial with illustrations and instructions, as well as special tips unique to the subject, the paper, the lesson, and other details.
Individual lessons cover:
- Sketching a composition freehand
- Drawing an umber under drawing
- Glazing color
- Solvent blending
- And much more
Students will also see how to improve on the color of a reference photo that isn’t ideal.
Intermediate and Higher
Carrie provides a complete supply list and tells students what colors and strokes she uses at each stage. She also explains her choices so students can begin to understand how to make decisions for their own projects.
The class also requires basic freehand drawing skills. No line drawing is included with this class.
Beginners can take this class and do well, but it may be more of a challenge for them.
