Hope is the second born in a litter of five for a first-time mother. She was the second largest of the five kittens when she was born, and she has remained one of the larger kittens.
She’s a beautiful light gray tiger with white markings and looks very much like her mother.
However, while her mother is tall, long-legged and very slim, Hope gives every appearance of being more stocky as an adult; more like her father.
Hope is an affectionate kitten when she wants to be, but seems more independent then some of the others. She plays just as vigorously as some of the others, and runs and climbs just as they do. But she is more gentle in her play when people are involved. No claws or fangs.
She’s also more relaxed in personality. A quiet cat.
Hope has been raised entirely indoors, so she’s well-acquainted with the litter box and with the water bottle, which we use for discipline and training. She does sometimes forget herself, but accidents will happen.
Hope eats regular canned cat food and dry cat food at will. Because their mother requires a special diet (Hill’s Biome Dry,) that’s what the kittens eat as well. But they have also eaten Hill’s Science Diet Kitten, Purina Kitten Chow, Purina Cat Chow, and Blue Buffalo dry.
The family has a history of digestive sensitivities, but Hope has shown no inclination in that direction so far.
She loves Cat Chow!
She has had no serious illnesses, and has had only a couple of bouts of tummy upset. Her growth has been steady and consistent throughout.
Momma cat is starting to turn the kittens away when they want to nurse, so it’s time for them to find new homes.
