This is the top-of-the-line web design service. It includes such things as a shopping cart set up, guest books and more. No two custom websites will be the same in looks or in price, so please contact me for a quote specific to your website ideas.


How the Process Works

Creating a website is a lot like creating a painting. There are specific steps that are basic to all work and that you can expect. There are also features about each project that will be unique.

The basic steps are:

~ Review of inquiry and development of estimate based on your information

~ Work order written based on approved estimates. The work order will outline the cost breakdown, the work that will need to be done and the estimated start date and completion date. You will then have the opportunity to review this information and to clarify any points.

~ You provide all materials and information necessary, including text, photographs and any other material. Those materials may be sent electronically or by regular mail. Work will begin when all materials have been received.

~ In order to secure your place in the working calendar, a 50% deposit of all charges is necessary. You may choose not to pay the 50% deposit, but your work will not be formally scheduled and will be approached on an as-able basis. A non-deposit project may be scheduled by payment of the required deposit.

~ A preview of the progress of your website design will be given privately as work proceeds. Your comments and suggestions are welcome during this process. It is always easier to avoid problems than to correct them later, but if you see a problem developing, I much prefer you to point it out while the design process is ongoing. This is the best way to ensure the final website will be one you enjoy, can boost of and that is completely functional.

~ When the website is completed, an invoice for the balance due on your account will be provided to you by email or by regular mail. Payment in full is required before the website is published.

~ If you have new materials to add to the website once design has begun or if you would like major changes and/or additions, a new estimate will be written for the additional work and scheduled accordingly.


When Your New Website is Online....

Once your new website is up and running, there will be routine website maintenance. This includes, but is not limited to updated information, new images, new pages or additional pages. Website maintenance is available for $12 per hour and quotes for updates will be provided for approval before work starts.

Custom Desktop Publishing is also available. We can design anything from business cards to invoices to brochures incorporating the graphic designs of your website so that your business is presented in a recognizable, cohesive way to your customers and suppliers. We can also provide printing or provide you with camera ready files. Custom desktop publishing services are available at $12 per hour and each project is individually quoted before work begins. Printing is quoted separately.

Technical Writing and Illustration services are available at $30 per hour. Each project is individually quoted before work begins.

For those who have a special horse, dog, cat - even a favorite reptilian pet - that you would like captured in oils or colored pencils, custom artwork services are available. Artwork can be created from your photographs or I will be happy to meet with you to photograph your animal companion for that special portrait.
