What is your biggest problem when it comes to creating the kind of colored pencil art work you dream of?
Is it getting started? Potential subjects either seem too easy or too difficult?
Or maybe it’s finishing what you start. Starting is easy, but finishing…that’s another story altogether.
The bottom line is the same no matter where on this spectrum you find yourself.
You lack confidence in your artistic ability.
You can gain confidence the way I did: By trial and error one drawing at a time. Just start and finish as many drawings as you can as fast as you can. It’s a proven fact that you learn more from finishing drawings than from reading about drawing.
And you learn more from finishing a lot of drawings than fretting over one, trying to make it perfect.
But you know what?
It takes a long time to sort through all the basic methods to find the one that suits you best.
Then there’s all the tips, tricks, and tools to learn. The process can seem endless.
A Better Way to Learn
There is a better way.
Artists of the past learned by apprenticing with older, more experienced artists. They started with the most basic basics and worked their way to more complex techniques. Eventually, they were participating with their mentors in creating works of art. Wouldn’t that be great?
Guided Online Colored Pencil Courses
I’m not offering apprenticeships, but I can help you gain confidence in your artistic ability. How?
By working with you one-on-one through an online art colored pencil course.
When you take an online colored pencil course, you:
- Work at your own pace
- Work on your own subject
- Focus on the area that most frustrates you
- Get personalized instruction and feedback on your drawing
A guided, online art colored pencil course can help you gain confidence by providing instruction in whatever area causes you the most difficulty in creating colored pencil drawings you’re proud of.
The best part is that I’ve already done the trial and error, so you don’t have to!
