Not every drawing is finished when you think it is. Sometimes, no matter how long you work on a piece or how finished you make it, you come to realize that it could use a little more work. If you work in method that produces light layers of color, it’s easy to add additional color.
But what if you chosen method results in paint-like drawings that are richly saturated with color and have a lot of waxy build up? How do you add more color to a drawing like that?
I answer that question in Too Much Colored Pencil Wax Buildup? Here’s How to Keep Adding Layers on EmptyEasel. You can read all about it here.
Then I hope you’ll drop by here and leave questions or comments. I’m always on the hunt for subjects for new articles, so if you have a question about anything colored pencil, leave it in the comment box below, then stay tuned. I’ll either write about it here or write an article for EmptyEasel.
