The Sunflower Arab Show is now past and it’s time to get back into some kind of routine.

Contemplation and Afternoon Graze: Imprimatura

Contemplation (right) and Afternoon Graze (below) are now at the imprimatura stage.
With this technique, the imprimatura stage is not the first painting stage. It’s the final prep stage. The painting surface is being toned in preparation for painting, but it is toned after the drawing is in place instead of before.
