ACEO Landscape Painting A Day
ACEO Landscape Paintings

Week 19, 2007
For the first time this year, I completed only four ACEO landscape paintings for the week. I worked on about eight in total, but everything was drying painfully slowly
Friday and Saturday were productive days, but not for finishing ACEOs.
Friday, I spent the evening preparing for an ACEO painting class I was conducting on Saturday. So although I worked on two different ACEOs that evening, it was in between preparing cards for students and gathering paperwork and outlines and other class materials.
Saturday was class day. It was the first time I had ever given a class anywhere, so although it was only a four-hour class, it was a full day's work!
I did start two new landscapes on Saturday, but the oil painting stayed at the gallery to dry and the colored pencil will take a lot more work to finish.

Landscape Study In Progress
This is one of two landscape ACEO paintings started during our ACEO class today. This is an oil, accompanied by the photo reference.
Even though only the most basic colors have been placed, you can already see that this landcape is departing significantly from the photo.
