Week 14, 2007
Seven paintings for this week. Not too bad, in spite of missing all of Saturday.
The focus of work this week was working with a limited palette. At the beginning of the week, I chose one of each of the primaries. The colors used were Lemon Yellow, Cadmium Red Hue and French Ultramarine Blue, supplemented with Titanium White.
That combination produced some very nice greens and great skies, but not much contrast, so toward the end of the week, I introduced a bit of Sap Green on a limited basis.
